If you are looking for the best masticating juicer on the market right now, there is a huge chance that you will be advised to consider either Omega J8006 or Omega NC900. While the Omega brand is indeed among the best juicer and blender brands on the market right now, it can be difficult choosing these two products. Omega J8006 has been a best-selling product for some time, loved by many due to the superb performance and reasonable price. On the other hand, Omega NC900 is available at a slightly higher price point. Is Omega NC900 really better than Omega J8006? Let’s see below.
Design and Features
In terms of design, Omega NC900 is visibly a thud bulkier than Omega J8006. Omega NC900 distinctively features a curved bottom part and a sleek handle on the top, as opposed to Omega J8006’s simple and compact body. The model is a little bit bulkier because it comes with bigger capacity and much larger opening. The 1.5” x 2” feed opening on the top is roughly twice the size of Omega J8006’s opening. Therefore, there will be less cutting of vegetables and big fruits. This way, it becomes a handier juicer to use. In addition, Omega NC900’s feeder chute and top round piece are molded together. Another feature of Omega NC900 that should not be missed is the pulp adjustment knob on the front end of the body. With the feature, you can add more pressure in order to make the pulp stays longer inside the machine, getting more juice out of the ingredients as the result. The juice and pulp cups of Omega NC900 are larger than Omega J8006.

Both models come with low-speed 80 RPM motor speed, which aims not only to cut the fruits and vegetables but also to squeeze them all to extract the most juice. Both models also feature the dual-stage juicing system for the best results, as well as the automatic pulp-ejection function to allow continuous juicing. Both models are relatively quiet when operating. However, the manufacturer claims that Omega NC900 is able to deliver 7-13% more yield than Omega J8006 because of the sophisticated design. Indeed, this is possible because of the larger screen, in addition to the pressure adjustment knob mentioned above.
