Its jug size can also hold 12 cups of coffee which is similar to that of the DCC-1200 model. The similarities continue to occur with the Cuisinart DCC-2650 also supporting the pause brewing function and an inbuilt charcoal water filter. One trick that the Cuisinart DCC-2650 has over the Cuisinart DCC-1200 is the clock timer which allows for brewing of coffee in much more convenient schedules and a feature known as Extreme Brew which speeds up coffee production up to 25% faster.

As analyzed, both models score almost equally but the Cuisinart DCC-2650 edges the Cuisinart DCC-1200 with the Extreme Brew feature and more refined clock timer. It is pretty much a near close tie and its up to you to decide whether you will pay the extra 10 bucks for the Cuisinart DCC-2650 or just save your 10 bucks and go for the Cuisinart DCC-1200.
